Looking for some authentic Indian gravy? Then, do try this gravy filled with goodness of Paneer, capsicum and some amazing flavours.
How to prepare?
(1) In a pan add 2 teaspoons of oil and fry:
- 2 onions finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 10 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 an inch of ginger
- 8 to10 red chillies
- 1 cardamom
- 1small piece cinnamon
sauté the above ingredients.
(2) Then, add 1 spoon Chana (chickpeas) masala and mix well.
(3) Put the above ingredients in a mixer jar and grind to a fine paste .
(4)To prepare the gravy, you need :
- 200 grams of paneer cut into squares.
- 1 large capsicum cut into square pieces.
- 1 large onion cut into squares.
- 1 tomato cut into square pieces.
(5)In a pan add some oil or butter as per your preference. Then, add the cut pieces of onion, tomato, capsicum and fry them well . After the capsicum is cooked well, add the ground paste, add some water, add salt as per taste and 1/4 spoon sugar and boil.
(6) After some time(usually about 10 minutes) add paneer pieces and some more water and cook for about ten minutes in medium flame. [ Tip: see to it that the gravy consistency is not too thick. ]
Garnish the gravy with coriander leaves and serve hot!
